Temple Mount Trip

In light of recent news events, and the High Holiday's approaching, we decided to go to the holiest place on Earth, the interface between G-d and this world.
Enjoy the pictures...

The Churvah synagogue is indeed a surprise. I remember the "golden arch" from my last trip there. Glad it's being rebuilt. As for the Temple Mount, I don't think those were non-Jews, not all of them anyway. On my first tour, an American Jewish Congress tour, we went right up. I, er, touched the rock. Oops, sorry, won't do that next time. Our group photo was on the steps of the mosque. (why???) It will come back, I pray. I imagine myself inside the Third Temple when I say the brocha for Yerusalayim in the Amidah. (I suggest everyone say that brocha r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w-l-y. It says it all.) Shanah tovah to you and Malka.
